Hello Marrow: Instructions for Use

What We Do:

Macy and Nala are 30lbs and we feed them 1/2 cup of Hello Marrow per day in addition to allowing them to free graze on a holistic, healthy dog kibble. We typically add a little hot water to Hello Marrow (which gives it a beautiful consistency) and they RUN to the bowls when ready.

What We Recommend :

While no fresh cooked dog food is a definite 1:1 ratio to kibble, our market research has shown that it is safe to use it as such and we recommend a slightly higher ratio than kibble when used as a substitution for it. As always, it is your decision to give your furry friend as little as a quarter cup or as much of Hello Marrow as you would like per day (not to exceed the daily recommended amount of food per weight).

We recommend the following amount of Hello Marrow as a topper based on size for your pet:

Extra Small Breeds (>20lbs) = up to 1/4 cup per day
Small Breeds (21-40lbs) = up to 1/2 cup per day
Medium Breeds (41-60lbs) = up to 3/4 cup per day
Large Breeds (61-80lbs) = up to 1 cup per day
Extra Large Breeds (81-100lbs) = up to 1 1/4 cup per day
Giant Breeds (100+lbs) = 1 1/4 cup per day and add 1/4 per every extra 20 lbs

Hello Marrow is good in the freezer for six months and should be used within five days of opening.

How do I transition my dog to your food?

Transitioning your dog to our food is easy. Start by mixing a small amount of our food with your dog's current food (we suggest a teaspoon to start) and gradually increase the proportion over the next 5-7 days until the proper daily amount is fully incorporated into their diet. This gradual transition helps prevent digestive upset and allows your dog to adjust comfortably to their new diet.

Can I feed your dog food to my dog if they have allergies or sensitivities?

Our dog food is free from common allergens such as wheat, corn, and soy. However, if your dog has specific allergies or sensitivities, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian before introducing any new food into their diet.

How should I store your dog food?

Our dog food is immediately frozen up cooking to lock in freshness and nutrients. It should be stored in the freezer until ready to use for up to six months. Once thawed, any unused portions should be refrigerated and consumed within four days to maintain freshness.
